San Francisco’s Mission District

I love the Mission District in San Francisco and am often surprised when it gets overlooked by visitors to the city. Take a stroll down 18th and Guerrero to see the murals on the Women’s Building.

Or pop into the beautifully named Dog Ears bookshop. And don’t overlook the oldest building in San Francisco, the San Francisco de Asis Church on 320 Dolores St and built in 1776! When do you see anything that old in the US? And it’s so small you could easily pass it by if you weren’t on the lookout for it. So don’t say you weren’t warned…1082589_498224636936622_37886187_o
